Junior Account Developer
As a Junior Account Developer, you support our Senior Account Manager and business leaders in developing and strengthening client relationships, with a focus on IT & business consultancy and projects. Step by step, you grow into a fully-fledged Account Manager who manages existing clients while identifying and following up on new opportunities.
In this role, you gain hands-on exposure to the world of IT consulting: from matching talent with client needs to contributing to the setup of projects. You will start mainly in an internal support role, gradually evolving towards more direct client interaction, prospecting, and full account ownership.
Your Responsibilities
1. Account Support & Inside Sales
- You support the Senior Account Manager in following up on client requests and open roles.
- You follow up with consultants and ensure smooth administration related to current and new assignments.
- You prepare commercial proposals and follow them up closely.
- You ensure professional and timely communication with clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
2. Talent & Consulting Matchmaking
- You engage with IT and business professionals to understand their expertise, ambitions, and availability.
- You match consultants to open client assignments and ensure high-quality candidate presentations.
- You work closely with the ecosystem to fill opportunities quickly and efficiently.
3. Account Development & Prospecting
- You identify new opportunities within existing clients and actively contribute to further growth.
- You join client meetings and learn how to build strong relationships with IT and business decision-makers.
- You support the identification of project opportunities and future collaboration paths.
4. Evolution Towards Account Management
Depending on your growth and maturity, you will:
- Take over responsibilities for existing accounts.
- Independently manage client portfolios.
- Build and expand your own network within the IT sector.
Who Are We Looking For?
Must-haves
- Strong interest in sales, consulting, and IT services
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial mindset and eagerness to learn
- Proactive attitude and sense of initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice-to-haves
- First experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or recruitment
- Knowledge of IT profiles and technologies (a plus, not a must)
- Affinity with consulting and/or project-based environments
